FREE – Management Training for Women in Derbyshire & Men in Derby City

We are particularly keen to promote the Award in Coaching and Mentoring Qulaification. Click Here

We currently have around 20 free places for learners and employers to complete certificate qualifications in Team Leading, Management or Coaching and Mentoring.

We would particularly welcome applications from employers with a group of individuals. The training can be tailored to meet your individual and employers needs. It can be delivered on your site – or you can come to us.

NEW Courses

We have recently introduced the following new courses:

  • ILM Award in Workplace Coaching for Team Leaders and First Line Managers
  • BTEC Award in Preparing for Enterprise(relevant to schools)
  • BTEC Award in Customer Service Level 1 & 2(relevant to schools)
  • Certificate in Business Office Procedures (relevant to schools)
  • Certificate in Preparing for Employment

NUMERACY TRAINING – Additional Support

If you are an existing Acorn learner and have to achieve your Application of Number 2 and feel you need additional support above that given by your tutor, then come let our subject specialist help you on a Monday between 4pm and 6pm.

If you are hoping to start an Advanced Apprenticeship with us, but your numeracy is a worry, then you are welcome to come along.

Training will be in small groups – with no more than six per group.

EMPLOYERS - Apprenticeships in Business Administration

We have a number of Young People that are looking for a position in which to study their apprenticeship. If you are an organisation in Derbyshire that is looking for a young person to fulfil an administration role – please get in touch.
