Congratulations to all our learners at Bemrose, Sinfin, Noel and Merrill Schools!
We have been working with 60+ learners in these schools to achieve Preparation for Employment and Skills for Life qualifications. Not only have 80% of the learners achieved their qualifications, but they have all contributed to projects in the community.
These learners at Merill raised over £300 for the Derby City Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, which was matched by a contribution from Acorn.
Well done to all learners and staff!
Ten Years Old!
Acorn will soon be ten years old! We started on the 1st July 1996, since then the company has grown significantly and helped thousands of learners achieve qualifications and progression in their careers.
We would like to thank all our staff, past and present, for all their contributions towards making Acorn a success.
On-Line Learning
Building on our success with practice on-line Key Skills tests, we are currently developing our On-Line Learning Environment.
Learners completing Apprenticeships, will be able to develop their knowledge for Technical Certificates and Key Skills with the environment.
We expect current learners on Business & Administration Apprenticeships to be the first to benefit from this exciting development within the next month
